Description
his course focuses on applying critical thinking skills to important economic issues. We will analyze issues from a cross section of society, attempting to fully understand the underlying causes. Case studies will be supplied by the instructor; specific issues will be drawn from articles in newspapers and periodicals. Discussion will include the repercussions from these issues, as well as the development of possible solutions. There will be a focus on how the issues studied relate to the local, national and global economy and business environment.
