Organic Chemistry II is the continuation course of Organic Chemistry I for students majoring in science or studying for careers in allied health professions such as medicine, pharmacy, nursing. Topics covered include the study of aromatic compounds, conjugated systems, Grignard reactions, carboxylic acid derivatives, the nucleophilic addition to the carbonyl group, nucleophilic acyl substitution, carbonyl condensation reactions, carbonyl alpha substitution reactions, and amines.
